First Focus Campaign for Children expressed strong support for the MediKids Act of 2026 in a letter to the bill’s sponsor, Sen. Andy Kim.
“We commend your leadership in introducing this legislation and in building support around the notion that no child should go without health coverage simply because of where they were born, what their parents earn, or whether their family can navigate a complex and fragmented health care system,” the letter said.
