First Focus Campaign for Children expressed support for the Hands Off Medicaid and SNAP Act of 2025 (H.R. 2753) in a letter sent today to Rep. Brendan F. Boyle, who introduced the bill.
Noting the historic cuts made to Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by the July 2025 reconciliation legislation known as H.R. 1, First Focus Campaign for Children President Bruce Lesley wrote that the organization is committed to reversing the bill’s harmful impact on children and thus, support the Hands Off Medicaid and SNAP Act.
